Started in Colburn French & Kneen in 1984 as a hull technician, with the JLT transition he moved to broking and head of Hull and Yachts department. A Hull Marine & War/LOH broker, specialising in complex Hull and Liability insurance/reinsurance coverages. Mediterranean fleets, Ship Recycling Hull/P&I, COFR Guaranty and Marine Cyber are Richard's forte.

Andreas at Lloyds in 1985 with the Lead Marine syndicate Tysers. In 2020 he joined Seascope moving from Colburn French & Kneen/Jardine Lloyd Thompson, where he was a Senior Partner and Head of Marine Broking. Andreas’ broking career has had a long term focus on Greek shipping, amoungst other regions.

John joined the Graduate Training Scheme at Jardine Lloyd Thompson in 2009 and had been promoted to a Partner when he left in 2020 to join Seascope. He places H&M, P&I, liabilities and other ancillary marine interests for Clients based in the Europe, the Middle East and India. John has a degree in History and Politics from the University of Exeter and a Graduate Diploma in Law from BPP University Law School. He is a Chartered Insurance Broker (ACII).

Eleanor joined Seascope in 2017 soon after completing her degree in Modern Languages at the University of Manchester. She is an active presence in Lloyd’s and the London Company Market handling much of the day to day broking across Seascope’s Hull, War, K&R and Marine Liabilities portfolio for many of our clients.

Mike returned from working on Superyachts to utilise his experiences by securing a degree in Bsc (Hons) Maritime Business and Law from Southampton Solent. He started his career at Brit Insurance as a Claims Adjuster (syndicate 2987) primarily handling the Yacht and H&M business for over 3 years. Mike joined Seascope in Feb 2021 as a Claims Broker/Technician and is Certified CII. Mike has now expanded his role to include supporting the placing side.

Dean has over 30 years of experience in the Insurance industry. He started his career as Marine Claims broker for Bradstock Blunt and Crawley in 1987 and moved quickly onto placing. Dean has held many roles including nine years as an Independent Loss Adjuster, Senior Claims Adjuster for Canopius syndicate 4444 and most recently as Senior Marine Claims Adjuster at Tokio Marine Kiln syndicate 510. Dean joined Seascope in November 2018 as Claims Divisional Director/Broker. Dean is Certified CII.

Robert started in the London Marine market at Hobb Savill in 1979, as a claims broker, and subsequently spent 8 years as an Average Adjuster and 4 years working for Underwriters as a claims adjuster.

Robert returned to broking 1995 and held the position of Head of Claims at SBJ/Willis/ JLT/MARSH. Robert then joined Seascope in 2020.

David started his marine insurance career in 1992 having graduated from the University of Wales. After working for several different companies, David joined Seascope in 1997 specialising in all aspects of Marine Hull insurance.

Joe began his Marine Insurance career in 2012 when he joined the Marine Claims team at JLT. After two years working in the Claims team he then transferred to the placing department at JLT where he spent 8 years working in the Marine Special Risks Team. In June 2022, Joe joined Seascope where he is responsible for the placing and servicing of Hull and Machinery Insurances, War Risks Insurances and also other ancillary Marine interests on a day-to-day basis.

Ollie graduated from Cardiff University in 2018 with a degree in Economics. Following university, he had a stint working aboard a superyacht before returning to the UK to work for the NHS during the pandemic. He then joined Seascope in 2023 where he forms an integral part of the account handling team, supporting the placing side on several important accounts.

Lily joined Seascope in September 2024 following a 7-year career as a secondary school teacher and completion of a French & Spanish degree at the University of Bristol. This is her first role in the Insurance industry where she supports both the placing side and the account handling team. She is currently completing the CII Certificate.

Constantine joined Seascope in February 2025 following the completion of his International Relations degree at the University of Leeds and an internship at Latsco where he where he gained experience working in the insurance department. He works alongside the account handling team, assisting with various tasks and client support. He is also currently completing the CII Certificate.

Atalanti joined Seascope in August 2026 after completing her Law and Politics degree at the University of Kent. She helps on the account handling side and is on route to complete the CII certificate.

Adam began his career in Marine Insurance at Marsh as a marine technician for Hull and Machinery. He later Joined Everard Marine Insurance and gained more experience in other aspects of the industry, before moving to Seascope as part of the Closings team.

Michelle started her insurance career in 2005 after graduating from Teesside University. Michelle began in the Cargo and P&I team at Marsh as a technician before moving across to Marine and Liability, also covering some Energy and Offshore Contractors work. Michelle joined Seascope in 2021 after 16 years at Marsh and works as a technician in the Closings Team

Ravi joined Seascope in 2025.
