Alex attended university in the UK and USA and continued his studies at business school in the USA. Alex started his career at Citibank in New York where he endured their renowned officer credit course, followed by a period at WCG (World Corporate Group). Having set his sights on marine insurance, Alex joined Frank B Hall (now part of Aon) in New York and at their London office (then called Leslie & Godwin). In 1987 he moved to Seascope in a senior capacity becoming Chairman in 2005.

Andrew started working in Marine Insurance in 1973 with Lloyd’s Broker Morice Tozer & Beck, which later merged with Howdens in 1977. He joined Seascope Insurance Services as a Director in 1982 and was appointed Managing Director in 1999. Andrew’s working career has been dedicated to Marine Insurance and Re-Insurance.

Nick started at Wigham Poland in 1985 in the Greek broking department and remained after its merger with Sedgwick until 1987. Later that year he joined Martens Horner, continuing after their merger with C E Heath (later Heath Group) until 2001. From 2001 until 2002 Nick worked at Alexander Forbes as a broker producing Greek business and joined Seascope in 2003.

Started in Colburn French & Kneen in 1984 as a hull technician, with the JLT transition he moved to broking and head of Hull and Yachts department. A Hull Marine & War/LOH broker, specialising in complex Hull and Liability insurance/reinsurance coverages. Mediterranean fleets, Ship Recycling Hull/P&I, COFR Guaranty and Marine Cyber are Richard's forte.

Andreas at Lloyds in 1985 with the Lead Marine syndicate Tysers. In 2020 he joined Seascope moving from Colburn French & Kneen/Jardine Lloyd Thompson, where he was a Senior Partner and Head of Marine Broking. Andreas’ broking career has had a long term focus on Greek shipping, amoungst other regions.

Eleanor joined Seascope in 2017 soon after completing her degree in Modern Languages at the University of Manchester. She is an active presence in Lloyd’s and the London Company Market handling much of the day to day broking across Seascope’s Hull, War, K&R and Marine Liabilities portfolio for many of our clients.

Dean has over 30 years of experience in the Insurance industry. He started his career as Marine Claims broker for Bradstock Blunt and Crawley in 1987 and moved quickly onto placing. Dean has held many roles including nine years as an Independent Loss Adjuster, Senior Claims Adjuster for Canopius syndicate 4444 and most recently as Senior Marine Claims Adjuster at Tokio Marine Kiln syndicate 510. Dean joined Seascope in November 2018 as Claims Divisional Director/Broker. Dean is Certified CII.

Robert started his insurance career at Hobbs Savill in 1979, followed by 8 years as an Average Adjuster with Mediterranean Average Adjusting Company, then moved to the Commercial Union as a claims adjuster. In 1994 he moved to broking with SBJ and then to Willis as Executive Claims Director until 2004 when he moved to JLT. In 2018 following the Marsh acquisition he took up the role of Chairman of Claims for the joint Marsh/JLT operation, he joined Seascope in Feb 2020.

Paul began his insurance career with Colburn, French & Kneen in 1989 working in the Marine Hull department. He joined Seascope in 1997 and having gained worthwhile experience in the Hull department, he took the opportunity to further his career in 2000 by joining the P&I team. Paul also deals with the day to day handling of COFR/COFR Guaranty business in the USA Technical.

Tony began his insurance career in Seascope’s reinsurance department in 1978 after graduating from the University of St Andrews. Moving within the company to gain experience in Hull and Energy broking he then spent a period in the marine departments of Besso and Fenchurch before rejoining Seascope in 1987.

Frank joined Seascope in 2013 becoming Financial Director in 2015. He has held senior finance positions, predominantly in the Lloyd’s broker market, since 1997. Frank is a Fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants and a member of the LIIBA Finance Directors Discussion Group. He is also the Principal Contact for the Company’s regulator, the Financial Conduct Authority (‘FCA’), and also the Company’s Compliance Officer.
