Manos is the Director of Seascope Hellas S.A. and is also a Director of the Lloyd’s broker (Seascope Insurance Services) in London. He is a Certified Insurance Broker by the Hellenic Ministry of Development.

Manos holds an Economics degree from the University of Athens and an MBA from Aston Business School in the UK. He started his career in 1990 as a Lloyd's broker in London with Sedgwick Marine & Cargo Ltd. He returned to Greece in 1993 and spent two years as an Insurance Manager with a major shipping company. In 1995 he set up the Greek office of a French marine insurance broker which became Groupe Eyssautier Greece SA.

In 2013 he was appointed Managing Director of Seascope Hellas and became a Director of Seascope Insurance Services in London. He has also served as Chairman of the Hellenic Committee of Lloyd's Brokers Associates since 2011, having been a member of their board of Directors since 2006.

Manos Lorentzos

Sofia supervises both the Placing and Claims Department teams of Seascope Hellas S.A. on a daily basis, ensuring the provision of high quality services. She holds an MSc in Environmental Pollution Science from Brunel University, London and is a Certified Insurance Broker by the Hellenic Ministry of Development.

She started her career with Aon Hellas in 1996 as a marine technician and she has served almost five years with Gerling Industrie Versicherung AG as H&M Underwriter and another 13 years at Ethniki Insurance Co., Greece as Manager of the Marine Hull & Aviation Department. She joined Seascope Hellas in December 2013.

Sofia Papathanasiou
Assistant Director

Vasiliki holds a degree in Education Sciences from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Maritime Law and Shipping Management. She is an Associate Member of the Association of Average Adjusters and a certified Insurance & Reinsurance Broker. Vasiliki began her career with American Hellenic Hull Insurance Company Ltd. in 2016 before joining Seascope Hellas S.A. in 2020.

Panagiotis holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Maritime Business / Marine Insurance & Maritime Law from Shipping Business Education College (S.B.E.) of Piraeus and is a certified Insurance Broker by the Hellenic Ministry of Development.

He started his career in 2000 as an Assistant Insurance Broker with A.Karaindros Group of Companies. In 2002 he spent a year as an Assistant at Operations Department of Navigators S.A. and in 2003 he joined the H&M/P&I Placing & Claims Department of Hansa Maritime Services S.A. in Piraeus, Greece where he spent more than three years. In 2007 he moved to Groupe Eyssautier Greece as an Accounts Executive and joined Seascope Hellas in February 2014.

Panagiotis Kalogeropoulos
Senior Account Executive

Ersie graduated from the National & Kapodistrian University of Athens with a degree in Political Science and Public Administration and she also holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree in Maritime Law from City, University of London.

She started her career as a Claims Assistant in Groupe Eyssautier in 2009 and in February 2014 she joined Seascope Hellas S.A. as a Claims and subsequently Account Executive. She is a Certified Insurance Broker by the Hellenic Ministry of Development and a Member of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers.
